The Luchaverse To Be Developed for Television by Writer/Showrunner Adair Cole and MXN Entertainment

With the first issue of Luchaverse: Catalyst having just hit comic shops on July 17th and many shop owners reporting selling out of the copies they stocked, it was perfect timing to announce the pact at SDCC. Cole has roots in Southern California wrestling, but is best known now in Hollywood as a television writer. His latest project is writing & showrunning the tv adaptation of the MMA film Warrior for Paramount+ and news leaked recently about an “wrestling meets Dazed and Confused” pilot he has sold to a top tier cable network. MXN founder Mason Novick has a long history in film and TV. Before he formed MXN he produced films including Juno500 Days of Summer and Jennifer’s Body. Since forming MXN, productions have included Lisa FrankensteinBig Time Adolescence and Nightbooks for Netflix.
